When it comes to brainstorming graduation party dessert ideas, sweet treats are often what guests remember most.

At every party, desserts are what people gather around, take photos of and go back for seconds. When I’m invited to a potluck, I always volunteer to bring a dessert because I know it will be a hit.

Whether you want a stunning dessert table, cap and gown themed cupcakes or a DIY candy bar, the perfect sweet treat can make your graduation party extra memorable.

In this post I’ve put together a list of the most creative, crowd-pleasing dessert ideas that suit every grad’s tastes and guaranteed to be talked about long after the party’s over.

Use mason jars to create candy jars. Candy jars are an easy, elegant and aesthetic way to display sweet treats. Use two sizes: taller at the back and shorter in the front. Ferrero Rocher chocolates are perfect for a black and gold graduation party theme.
